Electro-galvanized finish is only applicable to dry indoor environments such as offices and shopping malls. QT450 ductile iron has better anti-impact performance than ordinary cast iron and can avoid cracking under lateral seismic force.
Load capacity is the core design basis. Only UTT10 has passed FM graded load tests at different installation angles. UTT10Q, UTT071 and UTTH10 only provide UL static load data. All tests use 1" SCH40 pipe as supporting member.

Designers shall control the installation angle of sway brace assemblies between 30° and 59°. If the angle exceeds this range, the certified allowable horizontal load will drop significantly. Shear bolts must be tightened until the head breaks off to reach the designated torque standard.

All four fittings follow the identical installation steps as specified on official drawings:
Secure the fitting base firmly to building load-bearing beams or concrete slabs;
Put standard 1" SCH40 bracing pipe into the base clamping groove;
Install M12 shear bolt and tighten until bolt head breaks off.
Several typical construction mistakes will invalidate certified load performance and lead to inspection failure:
Non-standard bolts cannot replace matched M12 shear bolts; incomplete tightening without broken bolt heads fails torque requirement;
Electro-galvanized products cannot be used in long-term humid or coastal salt fog environments; hot-dip galvanized customization is required;
UTT10Q is only fit for standard H-beam surfaces, not uneven concrete substrates;
UTTH10 is designed for heavy main pipes instead of small branch pipes to avoid material waste;
