Size Range — 11⁄4" bracing pipe. For brace pipe sizes larger than 1-1/4", use UTT10.

Function — For bracing pipe against sway and seismic disturbances. The building attachment component of a sway brace system; the UTT1001 is used in conjunction with the UTT18, UTT13 or with a UTT60 Pipe Clamp and joined together with a brace pipe per NFPA 13.
