Our undercut mechanical anchors are high-performance post-installed concrete fasteners, engineered for permanent, load-safe anchoring in solid concrete. Available in electro-galvanized and hot-dip galvanized finishes, they are widely used for seismic brackets, pipe supports, mechanical equipment, fire protection piping and other structural fixing projects. Unlike ordinary wedge anchors, this undercut design creates a form-fit interlock with concrete, delivering superior pull-out resistance and stable long-term performance.
Undercut Locking Design:Form-fitting interlock with concrete base, not only friction grip, higher load capacity and anti-loosening performance
Two Surface Finishes Available:Electro galvanized for normal indoor use; Hot-dip galvanized for outdoor, humid, corrosive environments
High Tensile & Shear Strength:Suitable for static and dynamic load applications, ideal for seismic bracing systems
Simple & Fast Installation:Pre-set assembly, easy drilling and mounting, no special chemical adhesive required
Strict Quality Control:Compliant with construction anchoring standards, perfect for fire piping, MEP mechanical supports
Undercut mechanical anchors are one of the most trusted heavy-duty concrete fasteners for modern MEP, fire protection and seismic engineering. This anchor relies on mechanical undercut expansion to form a positive interlock inside drilled concrete holes, instead of simple friction expansion of standard wedge anchors. The unique structure ensures stable load transfer and greatly reduces the risk of failure under vibration, shock and long-term service load, which is critical for seismic bracket and pipe support systems.
We supply two mainstream surface treatments to match different site environments. Electro-galvanized anchors feature bright zinc coating with good anti-rust performance for dry indoor projects, such as indoor mechanical piping, electrical equipment fixing and indoor seismic bracing. Hot-dip galvanized anchors provide much thicker zinc layer, excellent corrosion resistance, suitable for outdoor buildings, underground spaces, humid basements and coastal high-salt environments.
All anchor bolts are made of high-strength carbon steel, with complete matched expansion sleeve, nut and flat washer. The whole set is pre-assembled for convenient storage and field installation. Construction workers only need to drill the hole to the specified depth, clean dust, insert the anchor and tighten the nut to complete anchoring. No curing waiting time like chemical anchors, which improves construction efficiency greatly.
This series of mechanical undercut anchors are widely applied in seismic support hangers, fire sprinkler pipe fixing, HVAC duct supports, cable tray mounting, equipment base anchoring, curtain wall fixing and other building fastening scenes. It is a preferred fastener choice for engineering contractors, seismic bracket manufacturers, MEP installation companies and wholesale distributors.
Q: What base material can this anchor bolt be used in?
A: The anchor is designed for concrete substrates, cracked and uncracked. For hollow-core slabs, masonry, or steel decks, contact us — we will recommend a suitable anchor type.
Q: What is the difference between the zinc plated and hot-dip galvanized versions?
A: Hot-dip galvanizing applies a thicker zinc coating and provides longer corrosion resistance, recommended for damp or outdoor MEP environments. Electro-galvanized anchors suit dry indoor services.
Q: Can I order anchors together with pipe supports and bracing fittings?
A: Yes. We routinely ship anchors in the same container as our seismic bracing and pipe clamp systems.
