UTT BC3 is a standard structural connection component widely used for pipeline support and seismic bracing systems. It offers two material choices: high-strength carbon steel and high-toughness QT450 ductile iron. Two surface treatments including black raw steel and galvanized anti-rust finish are provided to suit various indoor and semi-outdoor working environments. The product fully complies with Federal Specification WW-H-171 (Type 23), ANSI/MSS-SP-58 (Type 19 & 23), and follows the installation regulations of ANSI/MSS-SP-69.
It has two mainstream sizes, 3/8"(M10) and 1/2"(M12), with complete standard dimensional parameters. This fitting is mainly used to fix pipeline support assemblies on metal beams, purlins, channel steel and angle iron of steel structure buildings. To ensure reliable load-bearing capacity and connection stability, the setscrew shall be fully tightened and torqued against the sloped surface of I-beams in actual installation.
Core Function: Connect pipeline supports to the top and bottom of metal beams, purlins, channel steel and angle iron for stable installation
Raw Material: Carbon Steel / QT450 Ductile Iron
Surface Finish: Black finish / Galvanized finish
Compliance Standard: WW-H-171(Type 23), ANSI/MSS-SP-58(Type 19&23), ANSI/MSS-SP-69
Available Sizes: 3/8"(M10), 1/2"(M12)
Installation Requirement: Torque the setscrew onto the sloped side of I-beam.

1.Fire Sprinkler System: Structural connection for sprinkler pipe bracing on standard steel beams and purlins in commercial and industrial buildings.
2.Steel Structure Construction: Conventional connecting fitting for MEP pipeline supports on I-beams, channel steel and angle iron of factory buildings and large steel frame projects.
3.Seismic Bracing Engineering: Standard certified connector for seismic sway brace assemblies in high-rise buildings and public facilities.
1.Select M10 or M12 size of UTT BC3 according to on-site structural size and load requirements.
2.Place the attachment on the top or bottom position of target metal beam, purlin, channel steel or angle iron.
3.Align the built-in setscrew with the sloped side of the I-beam.
4.Tighten the setscrew and apply standard torque to lock the component securely.
5.Assemble matched pipe clamps, hangers and bracing parts to complete the full pipeline support system.
1.Conforms strictly to US federal standards and international ANSI/MSS series specifications for structural attachments and pipe hangers.
2.Black and galvanized surface treatments meet general industrial anti-corrosion and surface processing requirements.
3.All finished products pass UL & FM third-party certification, as well as factory dimension check and torque performance test before delivery.
Carbon steel for cost-saving conventional projects; QT450 ductile iron delivers excellent toughness and impact resistance for heavy-load and seismic applications.
Black finish is suitable for dry indoor environments; galvanized finish provides long-lasting rust protection for humid working areas.
Classic standard size design, widely compatible with most common steel beams and installation spaces on the market.
UL and FM approvals satisfy strict acceptance rules for fire protection and international engineering projects.
Fits I-beams, purlins, channel steel and angle iron, covering most mainstream steel structural bases.
Unified operation rule for setscrew positioning effectively avoids loose connection and guarantees long-term operational safety.
