Standard Installation Operation Rules

Official standardized installation is divided into three sequential steps:

  1. Secure the UTT10Q C-clamp tightly onto building structural members such as steel beams via the 1/2" mounting hole;

  2. Insert 1" SCH40 bracing pipe into the inner cavity of the C-clamp base, ensure the pipe is fully seated at the bottom of the fitting;

  3. Install the designated shear bolt and continuously tighten until the bolt head breaks off automatically to reach certified fixed clamping force.

After installation, connect the other end of the SCH40 brace pipe with UTT series pipe clamps mounted on fire sprinkler pipes to form a complete seismic anti-sway restraint assembly for overhead piping.
